Learn about American life and culture as you journey through North America. Through classroom lectures, videos, journals and on-site travel,students will discover American culture, U.S. history,civil rights, the U.S. economy, government and current events. Throughprofessionally guided tours,students will visit historical landmarks in Washington D.C., Philadelphia, Quebec & Montreal Canada,and Niagara Falls. Au Pairs must take a class and the learning laboratory(travel) to earn three non-credit units.
This course is divided into two components: classroom learning, and travel (learning laboratory). Registration must becompleted for each component separately.

Register for the travel component ONLY with East Coast EdVentures. East Coast EdVentures will provide transportation and lodging. They will also provide you with a travel itinerary,answer your visa or passport questions, and accept your payment. Travel includes twonights’ accommodation, guided tour andexperienced chaperones.
